Haul: Ulta 7/3/12

How this happened, I don't know but I do know that I met up my roommate at Ulta for lunch because we wanted to get some of their $1 lip pencils. I also printed out their customary $3.50 coupon plus I had $5.00 off my rewards so technically I could walk away playing for barely nothing. As it happened, I picked up a few things on clearance and on those bins they have by the register while I waited for my turn to pay.

So here we go:

• 2 Montagne Jeunesse masks: Crushed Raspberry Fruit Smoothie (deep-pore cleaning) and the Anti-Stress Mud Pack. I've never ever tried these and I had always eyed them so I went for them. They were $1.99 each.
• 2 Essence Lipsticks. Colors: Like a Lady and Fairytale. I just love these! I already owned one that I use nearly daily so I picked up some bright colors for the Summer. They were on clearance for $1.89 each.
• 2 Ulta Automatic Lip Pencils in Bloom and Plum, they actually both match GREAT with the lipsticks! $1 each!!!!!!
• Tarte's Blush & Bronze on the go. This was basically all I paid for because everything else came out free with my coupons and points. It contains a small version of Tarte's Bronzer in Park Avenue Princess and one of their small Amazonian Clay 12-hr blushes in Dollface. I've never tried their bronzers or blushes so it's a nice time to check them out. Especially the blush claiming 12 hr wear.  Makes me want to take it out for ride! This was $15, which was my exact total! =D

Now, I'm placing myself on a shopping ban for a whole month. I have a lot of stuff I've ordered online which I'm waiting to arrive but I will not be hitting the beauty stores or counters for a month - wish me luck!

Haul: TJ Maxx and Ulta 7/1/12

TJ Maxx Mini-Haul: more like good finds. I found two bottles of my favorite Nexus hairspray at 60% less than I usually pay at Ulta! They had tons more left so check out your local TJMaxx and see if you can find some. I also spotted this Korres quad which I thought would be GREAT as a stocking stuffer. Yes, I start in July to buy things :)

The spray was $5.99 and the shadows were $7.99. Great finds!

The Ulta Haul was a bit more extensive but I picked up items I was waiting for. Keep in mind that Organix, NYX, Maybelline, L'Oreal and Revlon were all BOGO50%OFF! Also, all Ulta brand items are on sale! Head over to Ulta if you want to pick up some great deals!

• Organix Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner. The conditioner was double the size, same price! Brilliant! I will post a review of these once I'm done with them :)
• The NYX liquid liners! My friend recommended these to me but I've been so happy with my Jordana one (which I need to do a review on!) that I didn't find the need to verge but seeing as I could try them both out for a bit of a discount, I went for it. Just an overview:

• Maybelline Color Tattoo in Tough as Taupe. I had one already but I just like these so much I went for another neutral. I'm so predictable! LOL It's a gorgeous matte gray.

• 3 Ulta Polishes, these were $2 each!! From L-R: Cream of the Crop, Pinata-Yada-Yada and Moody Blues. I think Moody Blues might be my 4th of July color!

• The BB Creams. I got the Maybelline one and the L'Oreal one, this is really why I went there, I desperately want to test these out and compare them. I'm already leaning towards the Maybelline one just because it has SPF.

I meant to stop by Walgreens to pick up some of those Sally Hansen polishes which are on sale in July but I think that will have to wait until later on this week!

I had been waiting to go to Ulta and use my 20% OFF entire purchase coupon I got in the mail and today was the day. The coupon expires tomorrow so USE YOURS!

• Sally Hansen's Salon Effects Nail Strips in Take the Stage - I'm addicted to these but not to their price so I only get these when on sale or on clearance which this was! This is a beautiful black with tons of silver glitter - perfect for a night out or a party!

• Neutrogena Shine Control Liquid Makeup - This was a whim, I'll admit because I really wanted to try it just to test out if it really could control shine so I will be testing this out and most likely posting a review. Right off the bat I can see a problem in this - they only have 4 colors! 4 COLORS!! I'm NW25 and I got their darkest in Natural Beige.

• Amazing Cosmetics, Amazing Concealer in Med Beige - This claims to be the best concealer IN THE WORLD. Ok, challenge accepted! This was another whim. I fully didn't go in to buy this but I've been a little obsessed with under eye concealer and I've heard such good things about this that I just had to try it. Plus I got to use my coupon on it!

I also cashed in some of my Ulta Rewards and they took off an extra  $3.00 from my total. A total savings of $25.01!!!! Seriously, I basically got the Amazing Concealer for free!

I shall be, believe it or not, heading back to ULTA on Sunday because their July sale begins where nearly all of their drugstore brands are BOGO50%OFF. I shall share my next haul then! :)
